Discover the Burrowing Bees and the rich Aboriginal culture of the region on a 90 minute cultural walking tour with Toni “The Bee Lady of Carnarvon”.
Hi! My name is Antoinette Roe, my family and friends call me Toni
(I’m also known as the “Bee lady”).
I am a Thudgarri Woman on my Grandmothers side, and Wadjarri on my Grandfathers side.
I have a passion for Mungurragurra (pronounced: Moogadgurrah, in the Yinggarda language), “Dawson’s Burrowing Bees”, (Amegilla Dawsoni) and would love to share their story with you while you visit the region.
Being out on country with my Elders, (sadly, all now deceased), filming and documenting the Bee’s has given me the passion to promote them every season as a part of my cultural heritage.
